The Rev. Canon Arlette D. Benoit Joseph

The Rev. Canon Arlette Benoit Joseph is Executive Vice President and Chief Church Relations Officer at the Church Pension Group (CPG). She is responsible for strengthening CPG’s ties with the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society, The General Convention of The Episcopal Church, and other groups and stakeholders around The Episcopal Church. Prior to this, she served as CPG’s Church Relations Officer since 2023. She has a vibrant and dynamic approach to ministry and is deeply committed to fostering the spiritual and emotional well-being of clergy and laity alike.
Arlette's diverse background includes corporate America at UPS Mail Innovations in Atlanta, GA, and Oracle Corporation Redwood City, CA.
She holds a Master’s in Divinity and a certificate in Spiritual Direction from The General Theological Seminary in New York City. While there she interned at St. Ann’s Church for the Deaf and Trinity Church, Wall Street. Ordained to the priesthood in 2013 in the Diocese of Atlanta, she went on to serve as Associate Rector at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and Campus Missioner for Absalom Jones Center in Atlanta, GA from 2013-2018. Most recently, Arlette served as Canon for Transitions in the Diocese of Pennsylvania, 2018-2023.
Born and raised in the captivating twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Arlette finds joy in traveling, leading spiritual retreats, indoor cycling, and recently learning to play the steel pan - national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago. She looks forward to returning to Smith Neck Road each year, and calls it one of her “happy places.”
