The Rev. Canon Arlette D. Benoit Joseph

The Rev. Canon Arlette D. Benoit Joseph is Senior Vice President Church Relations Officer at the Church Pension Group in NYC. In this role Arlette represents the Church Pension Group at events and conferences across the church and works with the Chief Church Relations Officer in establishing healthy, mutually beneficial relationships between CPG and the Episcopal Church. She has a vibrant and dynamic approach to ministry and is deeply committed to fostering the spiritual and emotional well-being of clergy and laity alike.
Arlette's diverse background includes a stint in the business world as a Marketing Analyst at UPS Mail Innovations in Atlanta, GA, where she honed her leadership skills. She holds a Master’s in Divinity and a certificate in Spiritual Direction from The General Theological Seminary in New York City, while there she interned at St. Ann’s Church for the Deaf and Trinity Church, Wall Street. Ordained to the priesthood in 2013 in the Diocese of Atlanta, she went on to serve as Associate Rector at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and Campus Missioner for Absalom Jones Center in Atlanta, GA from 2013-2018. Most recently, Arlette served as Canon for Transitions in the Diocese of Pennsylvania, 2018-2023.
Born and raised in the captivating twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Arlette finds joy in household crafting, indoor cycling, traveling, and outdoor adventures with her beloved five-year-old English Mastiff, Justice, who shares her love for water and looks forward to embracing the summer lifestyle on Smith Neck Road.
